Summary:
The Mechatronics Engineer will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to innovate and enhance automation, robotics, and intelligent systems within Atom Tooling Technology. This role demands a blend of creative problem-solving skills and technical acumen to drive technological advancements and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Develop and design mechatronic systems, components, and processes.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Perform simulations and prototyping of mechatronic systems to validate designs.
- Integration and Testing:
- Integrate mechanical, electronic, and software components into cohesive systems.
- Conduct testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of mechatronic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement control systems and develop firmware/software for embedded systems.
- Project Management:
- Plan, manage, and execute engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
- Ensure project deliverables are met within the specified timeline and budget.
- Innovation and Optimization:
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance product functionality and performance.
- Optimize existing mechatronic systems for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze data and feedback to improve system designs and functionalities.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, technical reports, and regulatory compliance records.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Customer and Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users regarding the operation and maintenance of mechatronic systems.
- Address and resolve customer issues and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in mechatronics engineering.
- Stay updated with advancements in mechatronics, robotics, and related fields.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechatronics engineering, robotics, automation, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful project management and system development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design.
- Experience with programming languages.
- Knowledge of control systems, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with industrial automation tools and processes.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in mechatronics, robotics, or project management are advantageous.
Working Conditions:
- Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with frequent visits to production or testing facilities.
- Occasional travel to customer sites or industry events may be required.
- Hours:
- Full-time position with standard working hours. Flexibility to work outside regular hours may be needed to meet project deadlines.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: Php15k-25k
- Commission: Performance-based bonus structure.
